Theater Traumatizes Children by Playing ‘La Llorona’ Instead of ‘Detective Pikachu’
Parents should've known something was up when they started playing trailers for Annabelle and Chucky...
According to IndieWire's Michael Nordine, "If ever you find yourself in a movie theater to see a family-friendly film and are greeted by trailers for R-rated horror movies, turn back."
IndieWire reports that a theater full of young children and parents in Montreal were expecting to see the G-rated "Detective Pikachu." Instead, the unfortunate moviegoers were subjected gory, R-rated trailers...and "La Llorona". Needless to say, there was crying.

We've all been moved to another theatre where Detective Pikachu is just paused? At least there aren't any more murders on-screen pic.twitter.com/tEid3ThPY4
