Cardi B First Solo Woman, Latina Ever To Win Best Rap Album Grammy
Cardi B made history at the 61st Grammy Awards, becoming the first solo female rapper, and first Latina, to win Best Rap Album.
Cardi is the first solo woman to win in the category’s 20-year history.

In her acceptance speech, Cardi thanked her daughter Kulture.

Cardi B was nominated for seven awards, including Album of The Year and Record of the Year for chart-topping single “I Like It” with Bad Bunny and J Balvin.
